OUR STORY
DMA Applied Controls founded in 1998 by Apperley Electric President Darrell Apperley has become one
of the largest control contractors in Saskatchewan with offices and staff in Regina, Saskatoon and
Yorkton.
The combined strength of DMA Applied Controls coupled with Apperley Electric allows us to carry out
projects of all sizes and various scopes.
DMA and Apperley Electric employ over 60 personnel in three branch locations. With highly skilled staff
and leading-edge technologies, DMA Applied Controls can provide turnkey solution to meet the needs
of any customer.
DMA has partnered with Honeywell since the beginning and has achieved many awards of excellence
over the past 23 years.
DMA has achieved Honeywell Canadian Contractor of the Year for the past 13 years as well as
Honeywell ACI Direct status since 2011. ACI Direct is the most coveted contractor status which recognizes the Top 10 Honeywell controls contractors in North America.
We are committed to excellence in all our projects. We are passionate about being the best at what we
do and are leaders in customer service.
DMA Applied Controls currently employs 15 factory certified Honeywell/Niagara N4 technicians and
DMA’s Building Services technicians are available 24/7 to provide on-site service to customers when and
where they need it.

Canadian Contractor of the Year 2008-2021
